Hierba Negra is a perfume house working from a single premise: a fragrance should smell like the material it came from. Each composition begins with one raw ingredient — a root, a bark, a bloom, a fruit — isolated, studied and photographed before a single formula is written.

The collection is produced in small batches and kept deliberately small. Nothing is added to make a scent easier to wear.
